Bangladesh wrap up first away win against NZ

Bangladesh have finished the tri-nation series on a high note wrapping up first away win against New Zealand.

Death bowling and sensible batting performance were the key in the 5-wicket win. Bangladesh finish second in the tournament although the Tigers had their first match against Ireland washed away.

Chasing the target of 271, Bangladesh had it all in the first over, with Tamim came down the track and hit for a six in the first ball and Soumya departed in the third.

Bangladesh took the match under control with 134-run partnership between Tamim and Sabbir. Both the batsmen went back to pavilion in quick succession while both players scored 65-run each.
